Information Collected

During sandbox evaluation and walkthrough registrations, Astraea OE collects business-contact details provided directly by the user: full name, corporate email address, organization name, and operational scale.

Purpose of Processing

Collected corporate information is used solely to provision access to synthetic demo instances, log prospective enterprise inquiries, and communicate regarding operational software evaluations.

Confidentiality

Astraea OE does not sell, lease, or monetize business contact information. Data is stored within secure database environments managed strictly under operational confidentiality controls.

Pre-Seeded Environment

All evaluation sessions operate exclusively on artificially generated queue distributions, synthetic staffing requirements, and fictitious employee roster records.

Zero Live Telephony Exposure

No customer voice recordings, call transcripts, or real agent personal identification data (PII) are stored, processed, or exposed during evaluation sandbox sessions.

1. Compliance Overview (POPIA & GDPR)

AstraeaOE (Pty) Ltd complies with South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA Act 4 of 2013) and UK/EU GDPR principles. In our role as an Operator (Processor), we process employee scheduling data on behalf of our client organizations (the Responsible Party / Controller).

2. Data Scope & Processing

Astraea OE strictly processes operational telemetry necessary for workforce scheduling, including:

• Operational agent identifiers (Employee ID, corporate email address, display alias).
• Shift rosters, break schedules, coaching intervals, and attendance status.
• Interval demand aggregates (call volumes, average handling times).

Astraea OE does not ingest or process banking credentials, consumer payment information (PCI-DSS), voice audio recordings, or special personal information.

3. Security Safeguards (POPIA Section 19)

All client data is isolated via dedicated PostgreSQL database schema barriers. Network transmission is enforced via TLS 1.3 encryption, and data at rest is encrypted using AWS Key Management Service (AES-256 KMS).

4. Data Sovereignty & Residency

Primary processing and databases reside within Amazon Web Services infrastructure in Cape Town (af-south-1) and London (eu-west-2) under strict statutory adequacy agreements.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or utilizing the Astraea OE platform, client organizations and authorized users agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Astraea OE provides frontline workforce capacity modeling, real-time schedule adherence tracking, and intraday operational telemetry.

2. Authorized Use & Access

Access is restricted to authorized personnel provisioned by client administrators. Users agree to maintain the confidentiality of their credentials and immediately report any unauthorized use.

3. Intellectual Property

All algorithms, Erlang modeling engines, software interfaces, telemetric data structures, and documentation remain the exclusive intellectual property of AstraeaOE (Pty) Ltd.

4. Service Availability & Security

Astraea OE implements enterprise-grade technical safeguards, including TLS 1.3 encryption in transit and AWS KMS AES-256 encryption at rest. While Astraea OE targets high service availability, access is provided on a managed SaaS basis subject to planned maintenance.

5. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of South Africa.
